Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a HGV Technician to working with a waste management and sustainably focused organisation, who use innovative technology and unique processes. They provide a wide range of services including high pressure jetting, waste removal and water/ sludge treatment.

Roles & Responsibilities

As the HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of vehicles for scheduled MOTs
• Conduct a variety of maintenance and repairs, both planned and unplanned
• Repair, but also diagnose defective electrical hydraulic and mechanical parts/ equipment on commercial vehicles

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Experience of working in vehicle maintenance
• Knowledge of working with vehicle computer diagnostics
• MOT preparation background
• Worked as a commercial mechanic
• Full driving license
• HGV vehicles experience (desirable)
• A valid HGV class 2 license (desirable)

Salary & Package

What's on offer for this exciting role:

• £35,000- £40,000
• Competitive overtime available
• Opportunity to complete Class 2 licence
• Monday to Friday, 10 hr shifts (6am or 8am start)
