Specialising in thedevelopment, engineering, financing, construction, operations & maintenance of large scale solarphotovoltaic projects. With close to 1.8GWp installed Globally and a 5-year track record foroutstanding services, they are looking for aBESS Procurement Manager to providing Procurement Management services to Battery Storage projects across Europe.Roles & ResponsibilitiesAs BESS Procurement Manager you will be responsible for:
Take lead for procurement of Battery Storage equipment, services and works.
Collaborate with global procurement team and colleagues to ensure sharing of key supplier and market information whilst ensuring consistency of approach in procurement strategies across the group.
Create and maintain BESS supplier audit and compliance processes including compliance with the companies Code of Conduct and mitigation of Environmental, Social and Governance risks. Subsequently lead supplier pre-qualification and onboarding of subcontractors and suppliers.
Evaluate market trends affecting procurement of key equipment and services including the upstream supply chain. Prepare market and industry reports to be shared internally.
Skills & QualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:
Degree in relevant accounting or management supply chain subjects or equivalent experience.
Experience in Battery Storage markets mandatory.
Familiarity with Solar PV a strong plus.
Good understanding of typical procurement contracts for BESS equipment.
Ability to develop strong working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Existing network of industry contacts a plus.
