Job Title: Construction Planner
Business Unit: Darchem Projects Division – Hinkley Point C
Reports to: Senior Project Manager
Summary
An opportunity has arisen within the DPD business unit for a Senior Planner to be based on site to join the team drafting, owning and maintaining schedules for HPC. The current schedule is to level 6 and is built up of work scopes split across 3 buildings spanning over 10 work faces.
Summary of key duties & responsibilities

Production and maintenance of schedules

Analysis of schedules to ensure most efficient workflow

Critical Path analysis

Leading schedule look aheads to ensure timely and proactive delivery – this includes 2 day,10 day, 30 day and 60 day look aheads that are presented to both internal and external stakeholders

Generating schedule reports on a weekly basis to monitor KPI’s such as SPI/CPI

Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Cost Engineer to support the Monthly Cost Report.

Lead weekly planning meetings with construction and engineering teams
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience of Construction Planning.

P6 SQEP.
-
Experience of site works.
-
Current BPSS holder is advantageous

Knowledge of fabrication and welding processes is advantageous
