The strategically important Preconstruction Project Manager role comes with a salary of £70k basic, pension, healthcare, life assurance and fully remote working from home.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will:

Be the primary UK project management team contact for EPC sales opportunities for solar PV and BESS projects.

Site visits to undertake construction feasibility assessments to inform tender responses and pricing along with construction risk identification.

Review contract information including surveys, planning permission documents, Employer’s Requirements to inform sales activities by identifying risks and opportunities.

Support the review and negotiation of EPC contracts and Employer's Requirements.

Assist and input to subcontractor and supplier RfP’s to build up EPC pricing based on accurate inputs and market information.
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

BSc or higher in engineering discipline or equivalent experience in relevant field.
Personal skills:
The Pre-Construction Project Manager role would suit someone who is:

Clear technical understanding of Solar PV and/or BESS project design.

Project development background or experience advantageous.
-
3-5 years of demonstratable utility Solar PV experience. Battery Storage experience a plus.

Track record of managing multiple projects at any one time.

Ability to develop strong networks with key project stakeholders.
Salary and benefits of the Pre-Construction Project Manager role:

£60k - £70k basic
