Astute’s EPC Power team is partnering with a leading EPC Contractor within the UK Power Industry to recruit a Forklift Counterbalance Operator on a 10 months contract basis for their Open Cycle Gas Turbine project based in Immingham.

 

The Forklift Counterbalance Operator role comes with an hourly rate from £18.00 to £19.00 per hour.

 

 

Key skills and responsibilities: 

• Day-to-day operation of the Forklift Counterbalance.
• Inspecting cranes for mechanical issues and performing regular maintenance to ensure functional safety and compliance with regulations.
• Inspecting the Counterbalance to ensure its safety to use daily.
• Performing routine maintenance of the Counterbalance Forklift.
• Carrying tools for running repairs if and when required.
• Cleaning and maintaining the crane hoisting mechanism if required.
• Must hold relevant Forklift Counterbalance license.

 

 

Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Forklift Counterbalance operator role: 

• Immingham, Lincolnshire
• £18.00 to £19.00 per hour (CIS)
• November 2024
