Lead Site Commercial ManagerStart – ASAP Farnborough£85,000 - £95,000 Introduction
We are currently recruiting for a Lead Site Commercial Manager to join a Prestigious EPC in the UK and Overseas Energy Sector.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesAs the Lead Site Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading commercial management on-site of assigned execution project in common law jurisdictions.
Coordinating and managing site commercial teams.
Developing contract administration strategies, procedures, and documentation.
Managing site commercial and quantity surveyors.
Identifying and pursuing the resolution of contractual issues.
Maintaining accounts and cost to complete for site packages.
Ensuring proper documentation and reporting of claims, risks, and opportunities on site.
Advising on claims for subcontract packages.
Supporting project site procurement.
Managing site aspects and establishing documentation for insurance claims and recoveries.
Participating in regular and necessary commercial meetings with contractors and suppliers.
Ensuring correct administration of payments, withholdings, retentions, and issue respective documents correctly and on time.
Reviewing budgets and cost to complete for all site contractors together.
Demonstrating reliability, high ability to work under pressure, social competency, ability to manage conflict, assertiveness, and service orientation.
Skills & QualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:
A qualified QS, full RICS.
Proficiency in scheduling and forensic schedule review (an advantage).
Experience in construction of industrial plant project delivery.
Proficiency with standard form and bespoke contracts (NEC / FIDIC).
Practical, assertive, diligent, detail and solution-oriented.
Long-term experience in comparable function in construction/operation/service of industrial plants.
Profound experience in identifying and managing claims.
Very good negotiation skills and ability to convincingly carry complex arguments.
Ability to work independently and have foresight to develop methods and procedures to enhance the business' success, working within and improving company policies and standards.
High-quality English drafting of contractual and claim documents.
Salary & PackageWhat’s on offer for this exciting role:
£85,000 - £95,000 salary
