a leading developer renewable energy provider with a commitment to professional development and sustainability to recruit a Solar PV Engineer to cover sites across Taunton/Glastonbury.
The strategically important Solar PV Engineer role comes with a salary of £35k - £50k, 6% pension, bonus, healthcare, and life cover.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Head of Operations & Maintenance
you will:

Carry out routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on deployed solar PV systems

Complying with company procedures
-
Performing Preventative Maintenance accordingly with the PPM annual plan
-
Performing Corrective Maintenance as occurs
-
Reporting of activities performed on site, upon any site visit and on a daily basis, through online reporting system.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ qualification in Electrical Installations

C&G 2382-18
-
C&G 2391-52 or equivalent
-
Knowledge of maintenance procedures and ability to follow maintenance schedules.

Knowledge of Solar would be a advantageous, however not essential
