Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with one of the world’s leading EPC service providers in the development, construction, and operation of solar power plants to recruit a Construction Manager for their Nevendon site.
The Construction Manager role comes with a salary of £55,000-£65,000 DOE, a car allowance and a 12.5% KPI driven bonus.

Responsibilities and duties:
You will be responsible for:

Meeting with key stakeholders, including Clients, ICP’s, DNO’s, Subcontractors, Landowner’s, OEM’s, Technical Advisors

Managing key project resources which will include the engineering team, on site quality managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

On site managing of utility scale Battery Storage projects.

Reviewing works against quality and requirements

Ensuring the highest HSQE standards are always maintained on site and in compliance with UK HSE and CDM regulations.

Coordination of subcontractors and all on site activities.

Ensure site documentation is prepared and delivered for project handover and O&M or safety file compilation.
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:

Experience as Construction/Site Manager on utility scale BESS projects
-
SMSTS
-
Black CSCS card
-
Strong preference for NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK).

Personal skills:
The Construction Manager role would suit someone who is:

Self-starter with willingness to self-develop and a passion for renewable energy.

Desire to work in an international Company.

Flexible, you will be managing several sites for the construction phase
