Astute is working with one of the worlds market leading O&M service providers. Specialising in the development, engineering, financing, construction, operations & maintenance of large scale solar photovoltaic projects. With close to 1.8GWp installed Globally and a 5-year track record for
outstanding services, they are looking for a Site Manager to be responsible for providing Site Management services to concurrent turn-key EPC Solar PV & Battery Storage projects in the UK
Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:

Manage Utility scale Solar PV and Battery Storage Projects on site.

Adhering to HSQE standards ensuring compliance is maintained according to UK HSE and CDM regulations.

Coordinating contractor and subcontractors on site and interface management between stakeholders including: ICP, subcontractors, landowners, DNO’s, Client.

Preparation of site documentation and delivery of projects and safety or O&M file compilation.

Management of all logistics and materials on site and identify and escalate any risk budget to project Management team.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or technical discipline.

Experience with Renewable Energy technologies in the UK, preferably Solar PV and/or Battery Storage.

SMSTS trained.
-
Black CSCS card preferable.
-
Strong preference for NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK).

First Aid trained a plus.
-
Fluent in English. German speaking a plus.

Self-starter with commitment to self-development and passion for renewable energy.

Flexible – the role will require managing a number of sites, staying locally for the construction phase.

Desire to work in an international Company.
Salary & Package
What’s on offer for this exciting role:

Basic Salary of £55,000 - £75,000
