Astute is working with one of the worlds market leading O&M service providers. Specialising in the development, engineering, financing, construction, operations & maintenance of large scale solar photovoltaic projects. With close to 1.8GWp installed Globally and a 5-year track record for outstanding services, they are looking for an Operations and Maintenance Portfolio Manager to facilitate the growth of the business without compromising on the quality and responsiveness of services they offer.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Day to Day Management of O&M contracts for Utility scale solar farms including Scheduling and design of maintenance plans.
- Monitoring the sites and troubleshooting of electrical and communication faults using SCADA.
- Using SCADA as annalistic tool to measure performance of sites.
- Offer technical advice to engineers and managing issues through to conclusion.
- Co-ordinating Subcontractors / Procurement of spare parts.
- Managing Health & Safety and any training requirements.

Ensuring strong relationships with any 3rd Parties, Clients, and the wider Management team.
- Managing any contractual obligations ensuring these are adhered to.
- Handling contracts and insurance claims.
- Development of growth opportunities, including regular review of O&M contracts.
- Contribution to PAC, IAC and FAC successful completion.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Electrical Engineering Degree or Similar.
- Must have at least 3 Years previous experience within the renewables industry in Operations & Maintenance, Asset Management, or Project Management.
- Good knowledge & technical experience with PV systems.
- Contract negotiation and management experience.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Well-organised and structured work method.
- Microsoft Office, advanced user in excel.
- Software experience with CRM/ERP and SCADA (training provided).
