With close to 1.8GWp installed Globally and a 5-year track record foroutstanding services, they are looking for aHead of Site Management (Solar & BESS) to provide management and oversight to site-based teams focused on delivering industry leading solar PV and Battery Storage projectsRoles & ResponsibilitiesAs Head of Site Management (Solar & BESS), you will be responsible for:
Take line management responsibility for team of Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, Quality Managers and Commissioning Managers responsible for delivering utility scale Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.
Ensure project functional reporting lines to Director of Project Management & Construction are maintained and executed.
Responsibility for ensuring the highest HSQE standards are always maintained on site and in compliance with UK HSE and CDM regulations. Drive a positive HSE culture amongst the team.
Coordination of construction resourcing to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
Provide experience and expertise to mitigate and overcome challenges encountered during project delivery.
Ensure team are equipped with necessary tools, equipment, and resources to deliver projects effectively.
Skills & QualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:
Relevant construction/engineering related degree or equivalent experience and/or vocational training.
Extensive previous experience as Site Manager on utility scale solar PV projects (20MW+) is a must. Battery storage experience is desirable.
3+ years’ experience in equivalent role or of leading a team with reporting obligations a strong plus.
Strong leadership skills with ability to communicate objectives and priorities clearly.
Health & Safety training or qualifications a must. Strong preference for NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK).
