About the role:
Astute’s renewables team is partnered with one of the UK leading Solar O&M suppliers to recruit a Solar Field Service Engineer.
The solar field service engineer will be providing site maintenance across O&M solar farm. This role comes with a salary of up to £38,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a company vehicle.

Responsibilities and duties:
The solar field service engineer role will have to:
- Assist with preventive and corrective site maintenance
- Demonstrate fault finding and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve reactive maintenance issues
- Comply with HSE policies outlined by the company
- Build positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Be willing to response to breakdowns in a timely manner
- Communicate with management, including highlighting any risks found
- Complete accurate and timely administrative reports for jobs
- Any other duties as required
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification or equivalent
- City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing

Personal skills:
The solar field service role would suit someone who has:
- A UK Driving License
- High Voltage experience, although not essential.
- Knowledge of BS 7671 Wiring Regulation Standards
- The willingness to participate in an on-call rota
- Strong Electrical fault-finding skills
