Senior Business Development Manager – Solar

£65k Basic + Car Allowance/Benefits

Astute are proud to be supporting an international client who are a leader in the development of large solar parks across Europe. Offering full end to end services from project initiation, financing, construction, asset management through to the full management of the solar park lifecycle, our client have a proven track record developing solar parks and already have a 400 Megawatt track record.

An exciting opportunity for a Home Based Senior Business Development Manager now exists to contact land owners such as farmers/estates, land agents and local planning authorities and identify new development opportunities for new solar parks.

As Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:-

• Project scouting including appointments and negotiation with landowners and interest groups
• Liaising with Company Solicitors for property agreements
• Contacting and managing municipalities to obtain and understand policies and regulations & support for our initiatives
• Project Management, managing individual project progress on the ground, in close collaboration with the Munich based Project Managers

To be considered for the Senior Business Development Manager role, candidates will demonstrate:-

• Proven track record in Business Development/Sales
• Solar knowledge/experience
• Track record in Managing a Team
• Proven experience in dealing with Land Owners, (Farmers/Land Agents/Local Planning Authorities)
