Introduction
Our client is an award winning and market leader in the provision of the design, manufacture and testing of certified strain measurement systems used in sectors such as wind energy, marine and oil and gas. With a healthy pipeline of work, an exciting opportunity now exists for a Dispatch Coordinator & Materials Planner.
Roles & Responsibilities
As the Dispatch Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Coordinating with the production teams to gain shipping information and confirm requirements of sale orders which are being dispatched.
- Liaising with customers to organise collections and confirm dispatch documentation
- Creating packings lists (dimensions, items, weight)
- Carry out short- and medium-term scheduling of production activities and working with the Production Manager for long term planning
- Administer any production paperwork and relevant documentation
- Recording dispatch notes through Sage and EXPD courier collection notes.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Experience with managing customer orders in a small/medium production business
- Experience working in a low/medium volume manufacturing operation
- A proactive and hands-on approach to work
- Excellent communication
Salary & Package
