We are seeking a Pharmacist for a contract position for our client, a large hospital system located in Cleveland, Ohio. The Pharmacist will conduct flu vaccination clinics in Ohio City and Parma, serving diverse patient populations in the community setting. The Pharmacist will demonstrate excellence through efficient vaccine administration, exceptional patient care, and meticulous record-keeping that ensures program success and patient safety. This is a full-time contract position located in Cleveland, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer flu vaccinations to patients following established clinical protocols and safety guidelines
- Educate patients on vaccination benefits, potential side effects, and proper aftercare instructions
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive vaccination records including patient demographics and vaccine lot information
- Monitor vaccine inventory levels and ensure proper cold chain storage requirements are met
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution
- Previous experience in vaccination administration preferred
- Current and valid pharmacy license in Ohio
- Immunization certification required
