• Following pharmacy procedures and standards to ensure compliance with regulations

• Pharmacy Technician experience, with a solid understanding of pharmacy operations
• Active Trainee, Registered, or Certified license with the OH Board of Pharmacy

• Monitoring aged accounts receivable and resubmitting overdue bills
• Submitting seriously overdue accounts to collections and preparing bad debt reports

What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• At least 2 years of experience in insurance verification and medical billing, specifically with home infusion and specialty pharmacy claims
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven ability to handle complaints and questions from patients and clients professionally
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills
• Strong understanding of insurance plans, billing procedures, and healthcare documentation
• Experience with electronic billing systems such as Change Healthcare or similar platforms
• Knowledge of healthcare coding and compliance regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Key Responsibilities

What You'll Bring

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license

• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience • Strong data entry experience in a pharmacy setting • Solid understanding of prescription math, including days' supply calculations • Experience handling insurance claims and payments • High attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills
