Lake Charles, LA. As a Pharmacist, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring safe medication dispensing, managing complex compounding processes, and contributing to patient health and wellness. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications to ensure patient safety.
- Ensuring compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and sterile/non-sterile compounding protocols.
- Managing complex compounding processes, specifically focusing on BHRT, GLP-1s, and functional wellness medicines.
- Supervising and collaborating with pharmacy technicians to maintain high-quality standards.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A valid Louisiana Pharmacist License.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to learn intricate compounding procedures.
- Experience or motivation to excel in a fast-paced, specialized pharmacy environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a passionate commitment to patient safety.
