Job Title: Unit-Based Clinical Pharmacist
Pay: From $60.35 to $93.54 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: Full-time Day Shift with rotating weekends

What You'll Do
As a Unit-Based Clinical Pharmacist, you will:
- Review, verify, and manage medication orders to ensure safe and effective therapy
- Provide clinical pharmacy services and pharmacotherapy recommendations for a variety of patient populations
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds alongside physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams
- Support medication therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consult services
- Assist with antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and clinical interventions
- Educate patients, providers, nurses, pharmacy staff, and the community on medication-related topics
- Mentor pharmacy students, externs, and technicians while supporting departmental training initiatives
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and medication-use evaluations
- Support pharmacy operations including inventory oversight and medication management processes
- Rotate through specialty clinical areas including ED, ICU, and stewardship services as needed
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
- PharmD preferred
- Active Pharmacist license required
- ONE of the following:
- Completion of a PGY1 Residency
OR
- Minimum of 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Experience with multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced clinical certifications
- Emergency Department or Critical Care experience
- Antimicrobial stewardship experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, SIDP, or BCIDP certifications are a plus depending on assigned practice area

Location & Schedule
This is a full-time onsite opportunity located in State College with day shift scheduling and rotating weekends.
