One of our major clients in Cary, NC is looking for a floater medical assistant to work at a well renowned OBGYN medical office. As a floater, the responsibilities are all the same - the float position requires the MA to learn all providers and procedures as she will be the backup for vacations and call outs.  The main location is in Cary, unless a situation arises where an MA is needed in the Morrisville office, which is about 20 min away from the Cary office. When a physician does not need their assistance that day, that is when they will be working the nurse schedule, which are occasional injections and blood pressure checks, and helping the other medical assistants with their pt messages, calling lab results, working on prior authorizations and following up on referrals.   Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:45 - 5:00 and Fridays are 7:45 - 1:00 Pay: $20/hr based on experience  Need to be either RMA or CMA-aka completed a program and graduated #RXTEM

Job Description

We're seeking reliable Pharmacy Technicians to handle prescription processing and fulfillment. You'll manage various tasks with a pharmacist's guidance to ensure top-notch customer service and smooth pharmacy operations. Responsibilities

  • Oversee pharmacy inventory.

  • Prepare, fill, and label orders and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision (by pulling prepackaged medications or sourcing from stock).

  • Package oral and external medications using different equipment.

  • Collect and review physician orders, ensuring completeness, checking drug formularies, obtaining patient details, and maintaining Pharmacy Patient Medication Profiles.

  • Interpret physician instructions and print prescription labels.

  • Assist in ordering medication and pharmaceutical supplies under pharmacist supervision.

  • Receive and verify orders, restock medication shelves and supply bins, manage outdated drugs, and maintain cleanliness in the work environment, including pharmacy equipment and counters.

Schedule: Day Shifts and Overnight Shifts are available

Licencing Requirements: Must be licensed in AZ as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee or a Certified Pharmacy Technician Compensation:  $20-23/hr
