What You'll Do

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing and validating medication orders, ensuring accuracy and safety for patients in ED, ICU, and other units.
  • Providing clinical consultations related to medication therapy, working alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Supporting medication reconciliation and patient education efforts to promote safe medication use.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary rounds, offering expert insights on pharmacotherapy plans.
  • Covering general unit-based roles when not assigned to ED or ICU, including handling clinical consults and medication management.
  • Attending one evening shift per week focused on patient consults, ensuring consistent pharmacist support during off-hours.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols to maintain high-quality patient care.

What You'll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an ED, ICU, or similar acute care environment, or completion of a relevant residency program.
  • Valid pharmacist licensure in [State].
