Chris told me his background and I told him my background. We discussed the challenges facing companies when it comes to Information Security and the requirements of NIST SP 800-171, Rev 2 implementation, operation, and maintenance. He stated up front that he had an Information Technology background but had no direct experience with NIST SP 800-171. Understanding this situation, I was able to communicate and relate the NIST SP 800-171 Information Security Spectrum in a manner where we both had a meeting of the minds during our discussions. Chris is a very knowledgeable person in Information Technology!
