Lauren, is a great recruiter to deal with , was very helpful pre interview and post follow up day after being hired .
Lauren is definitely an asset to helping people find jobs.
The only problem I have found with Westbond Industries since I have been hired , it was disclosed to me from one of the employees that they have been unable to keep an employee in that position since September 2025.
Once I heard that, it made sense, coming from a company who takes work safe and employee health and safety seriously to a company that seems not give a crap, is hard to take, no office cleaned up for set to to succeed in that position .
This company has a lot to learn how to treat team members.
Lauren had mentioned she has been working with this Westbond Industries for a few years, and this was never disclosed to me.
It may be an internal issue that she is unaware of . She is not to blame, however your recruiting company representing Westbond Industries for future recruitment, you may want to reconsider.
I ask you keep this survey confidential from the client.
I accepted the position without all of the details. I have not even signed a contract yet. I was not told that I would only have 30 min break during an 8.5hr day! I don’t know of ANYONE who does this, let alone a high stress demanding job such as this one I accepted with the Govt. I had no idea it was going to be this demanding. Last two days I’ve worked 6h30 to 18h00 and today 8h45 to 19h00! I did not sign up for this. I am quite disappointed and uncertain of what to do so far going forward. I have requested 1 hr break during the day. Only way of doing this is if I go no pay which completely changes the annual salary that I signed up for. As well, I’m not paid for vacation (I don’t think?) and not paid for all holidays, such as this past weekend for Easter. I found out that the MB health employees are full paid, but because I’m co tract with you, I’m only paid for one of the two days off - which I had no choice to take as they were closed. So far… I’m not exactly satisfied at all.
