Stacey is wonderful. She really went to bat for me and helped me out. She is smart and kind and got to know me so she could recommend a job that fit my personality as well as my skills.
I had always been hesitant to use recruitment services due to bad experiences in the past (little follow up, very few presented opportunities, limited discussion with recruiter). I was referred to Doug and I must say it was a night and day difference. Doug took the time to talk with me on the phone and in person, to gain an understanding of my personality, what I am looking for and an idea of the roles I would like to get. He asked about example companies I'd like to work for, what are the most important things in a new role for me, and many questions tailored to what I was looking for. He also took note of my very unique skill sets in programming and data analysis, and used those to profile me out to potential employers.
Shortly after meeting with Doug he presented me with multiple (5+) opportunities and requested that he profile me to various clients. With each reply from the employer, Doug provided me feedback and improvements. After setting up interviews, letting me know where and when I needed to be, and getting answers to my many questions about the role, I had received an offer for a role that very closely matched what I wanted regarding type of work and supervisor personality. Before all my interviews he gave me great advice on what to expect, some questions that are normally asked, and if I ever had any questions he was very quick to discuss my concerns with the client and provide me feedback and information in a very timely manner.
I highly recommend Doug to anyone in the accounting field and if you have unique skills, even more so. Doug was an absolute pleasure to work with.
