I have been at David Aplin Group since 2008. My career started in public practice at Coopers & Lybrand where I articled for my CA and worked up to manager in the assurance group. From there I moved to one of my clients, Capital City Savings (now Servus Credit Union), as Chief of Internal Audit. I was at Capital City Savings for 12 years progressing from audit to Centralized Services to VP & Controller. Next I gained public company experience as AVP Finance at Canadian Western Bank. Little did I know I was building a skillset to be a recruiter as I have a strong background in financial reporting, internal controls, system conversions, etc. I now use my skills and experience to recruit accountants for temporary/contract assignments.

I enjoy the win/win of recruiting. Finding a great candidate for a great client benefits both parties.

When I'm not working I like to
spend time with my family. I have a wonderful wife and two sons and we are an active family - primarily downhill skiing, mountain biking and a bit of golf.
