I have done scores of interviews since I started my career close to two decades ago, and in all honestly, the best of all was with Tammy. Why so? It felt more like a friendly chat than an interview. Tammy began by asking about my day and how I was doing, setting a relaxed tone. This was particularly significant for me, as I've had a stuttering condition since childhood. However, thanks to Tammy's warm approach, I didn't experience any stutters during our conversation. At the time, I had just completed my studies and held a study permit. Prior to the interview, I emailed Tammy to explain my situation: that I was going to get my interim work permit before month-end from IRCC (which I have now received), and would be receiving a 3-year work permit in the coming months. I restated this during the interview, and Tammy understood my situation and was okay with it. This demonstrated remarkable patience and understanding. This is important because I have had a couple of other experiences where my interview was cancelled as soon as I mentioned that I had a study permit, without getting a chance to explain my situation. The best part about working with Tammy is that she checks on you to know how you're faring on the job. In closing, it's been a wonderful experience working with Tammy.
