I am a Healthcare Staffing Recruiter at AMI :) Getting into the healthcare recruiting field fell into my lap in a serendipitous moment of fate. Just a few months before the Pandemic hit and the country realized how large of a gap it had in terms of hospital staffing. Over the last 3 years, I have found a niche in finding the right person, for the right job, at just the right time. I bring to the table, my undeniable excitement, way too many exclamation points, and the constant worry that my usage of emojis is unprofessional.

Having a healthcare recruiting background has benefited me greatly. The biggest advantage that I’ve found, is the time I have saved by asking medical questions before I must make a doctor's appointment. One of my most memorable experiences, was when I was in the hospital pregnant with my twin boys that were trying to come too early. (31 weeks AHH!) I had all my NICU and L&D nurses reassuring me, giving me advice, questions to ask my doctors, etc. It was a terrifying experience, and those relationships and connections are what give me such a passion for recruiting.

If you are wondering, yes, those twin boys still stress me out and scare me daily ;)

My life is cemented in values, which carry over to my recruiting style. Integrity, honesty, kindness, directness, and transparency. My approach has been, and always will be to start with these fundamentals. Recruiting is more than phone calls and emails; it is the ability to listen and apply that knowledge to create a win-win scenario. There are still a lot of emails though…. ;)

When I am not working or chasing around my crew, you can find me trying to be a gardener and looking at house designs!
