One of our major clients in the greater Cincinnati (Fairfield) area is currently seeking a licensed Pharmacist. These are full-time positions that will entail working in a closed-door setting in a very hands on position. Key Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions, conduct drug utilization reviews, review prior authorizations, and facilitate the transfer of patient prescriptions to ensure timely medication access.
- Drive the implementation of new pharmacy projects and initiatives within designated timelines.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with team members across various departments and stakeholders to uphold patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and adherence standards.
- Foster improved health outcomes and enhance patient adherence through proactive measures.
Additional Duties:
- Demonstrate ownership of pharmacy operations, meeting productivity, efficiency, and accuracy targets.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and adeptly manage multiple priorities while prioritizing accuracy and safety.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in maintaining workflow and meeting schedules and quality standards.
- Participate in meetings and workgroups to facilitate coordination, communication, problem resolution, and knowledge sharing.
- Pursue licensure in multiple states as required by pharmacy needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (RPh); Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) strongly preferred.
- Current pharmacist licensure in either Ohio or Arizona, depending on physical location; candidates with licensure in multiple states are preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist, preferably with experience in a startup environment or in a managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
Compensation: $60-$65/hr based on experience
Schedule:Schedule:
(1) 2nd shift - 4:00PM – 12:00AM - M-F
(1) 3rd shift - 10:00PM – 8:00AM – Sunday through Wednesday (4–10-hour days) OFF Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Environment - Compounding facility - Smaller location, more intimate, open as far as retail setting as far as layout, but not handling much walk in traffic, hands-on, room for growth in this role
OH license required, Compounding experience is a plus!
