Machine Operator Pay & Benefits:
Starting pay for this position is $17 an hour
$200 referral bonus for each person you refer that works for 30 days (unlimited bonus opportunity)
After a brief probationary period, employees are eligible for a 401K, insurances including medical, dental, and vision, as well as paid time off
Machine Operator Shifts:
Now hiring for 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm
No overtime
Machine Operator Job Duties:
Knows the proper and safe operation of the machines
Understands the safety practices and protective wear required for machine operation
Knows how to shut down the machine in case of an emergency
Understands normal machine operations and can assess minor machine malfunctions when necessary
Ensures correct product is received per the work order provided by the Department Lead
Submits the first part produced to Quality for production approval
Knows the trimming process requires 100% visual inspection to ensure quality and consistency
Understands basic thermoforming terminology, such as deburr, hone, sharps, webs, etc.
Learns proper packaging and stacking techniques
Knows what to do when scrap is generated and how it can be prevented
Understands accountability for product quality
Informs Department lead when job is done
Machine Operator Job Requirements:
At least 2+ years of manufacturing experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Able to recognize functional and cosmetic defects
Able to stand on your feet for at least 8 hours per shift and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
