Machine Operator, Salisbury NC

• Full time, on-site, 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM Mon-Fri
• Starting pay $16.95/hr with raises as you complete training resulting in a rate of $21.33/hr

Interviews are starting this week, and the target start date is December 1.

All new hires begin in Inspection and Packing, then advance to Machine Operator responsibilities as you complete training milestones.

What You Will Do

Starting Responsibilities (Inspection and Packing)

• Inspect and pack parts with accuracy • Follow all safety and quality guidelines • Complete basic production and quality paperwork

Machine Operator Responsibilities (Training Progression)

• Set up, adjust, and complete changeovers on injection molding and blow molding equipment • Change molds and complete machine adjustments as needed • Perform basic electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting • Read measurements and use calipers accurately • Maintain clear production and quality records • Support the Team Leader and fill in when needed

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Ability to read measurements and use calipers

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in machine operation • Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical issues • High school diploma or GED • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to take initiative • Willingness to learn machine setup, tear down, and maintenance

Schedule, Pay, and Advancement

• Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM Mon-Fri

• Starting pay: $16.95 per hour in Inspection and Packing • Pay increases as you progress toward Machine Operator certification • Defined career path from Inspector Packer to Machine Operator

Additional Information

• Start date is December 1

• Holiday shutdown is scheduled for December 24 through January 2. This period is unpaid for new hires • You must follow all company health, safety, and environmental rules
