Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a leading defense technology company and we are seeking Vehicle Assembly Mechanics!
Hours: M-Th 6am-5:30pm, Fri 6am-12:30pm
(Must be able to work these hours every week)
Pay: $22/hr-$24/hr BOEPosition Overview:
The Vehicle Assembly Mechanic often works in small teams to assemble and manufacture mechanical components or systems for a wide range of vehicles that are specific to our product line.
Key Responsibilities:
• Use a variety of tools to build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, sketches, and plans.
• Build/replace/repair major vehicle components, assemblies, and systems (including engines, transmissions, and suspensions, etc.)
• Troubleshoot mechanical challenges and maintain an innovative mindset; exhibiting an ability to problem solve beyond standardized solutions.
• Effectively manage and plan work to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in safe and usable condition.
• Be willing and able to pivot to different tasks throughout the day.
• Ensure that work conditions are safe and efficient.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Having your own tools is a plus
• Basic knowledge of computer systems and other relevant electronics
• Proven experience in assembly, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting of vehicle components and vehicle sub-systems
• Aptitude in using various mechanical hand tools and precision measurement tools
• Demonstrate dependability, thoroughness, and excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices; read instructions, and blueprints etc.
• A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
• Keen attention to detail
• A valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
• Moderate walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching, routinely lifting, and carrying parts and equipment up to 50 pounds.
