Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a multinational retail and wholesale company that operates grocery stores and e-commerce businesses in Europe and the United States and we are looking for an E-Commerce Billing and Collections Specialist!
Pay: $20-$24/hr BOE
Position Summary:
Oversee assigned portfolio for billings and collections for eCommerce accounts.
Prioritize collections based on, but not limited to, ageing and dollar amount.
Perform account reconciliations for consumer accounts.
Review open balances to ensure proper application.
Coordinate refunds due to poor quality, missing items, and/or poor service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitors compliance of the Accounts Receivable approval policies for invoices, credit memo, and payback transactions.
Maintains policy and procedures for assigned processes.
Partner and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure Ecommerce systems are working effectively and assist to resolve business issues.
Conducts research and analysis on consumer accounts and performs QA on the GenPact team.
Assist with consumer escalations from the GenPact partners.
Communication with Ecommerce customers to collections efforts.
Communication with store team members on eCommerce accounts.
Assist with projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related field or five (5) + years of Accounts Receivable or Accounting experience in a fast paced dynamic environment.
Demonstrated understanding of accounting theories, methodologies, principles and practices, and the impact of departmental transactions to the financial statements
Knowledge of credit and collections techniques, revenue recognition rules, and general accounting requirements
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point, experience with complex spreadsheets, including lookups, pivot tables, etc.
Experience with account analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
Experience with or ability to use query tools for reporting.
Strong oral and written communication skills; able to confidently and effectively communicate with both internal and external business partners.
Analytical skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills, ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
