A leading automotive manufacturer in Wooster is hiring Press Operators for 2nd- and 3rd-shift positions. This is a full-time opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, production, or machine-operation experience who want a stable schedule and long-term career potential.  
  • Pay: $19.28 per hour + Weekly Pay + Overtime Available
  • Schedule: 4-Day Work Week (10-Hour Shifts — Enjoy 3-day weekends!)
  • Available Shifts:
    • 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:45 PM – 2:15 AM (Friday OT as needed)
    • 3rd Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 7:15 PM – 5:45 AM (Thursday night OT as needed)
  • Location: Wooster, OH (On-site)
  • Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

What You’ll Do

As a Press Operator, you will run automated and manual machinery to manufacture precision automotive components. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Operating and monitoring industrial press equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Conducting quality checks and visual inspections on finished parts to ensure zero defects.

  • Using basic hand and power tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, spot-welding tools) for basic machine setup and minor adjustments.

  • Maintaining accurate daily production and safety logs.

  • Keeping work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety standards.

What You’ll Bring (Qualifications)
  • Experience: 6+ months in manufacturing, machine operation, factory, or production environments.

  • Physical Capability: Ability to stand comfortably for 10-hour shifts and safely lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Comfort using basic hand tools and strictly following written technical/work instructions.

  • Bonus Skills: Prior experience with stamping presses, tow motors, or forklifts is a plus (not required).
