Industrial Painter - 1st shift 

1st Shift: 6am to 2:30pm  Starting Rate: $21 to $24 hourly Avon, OH area manufacturer to the aerospace industry is hiring a 1st shift Industrial Painter. This Industrial Painter must have at least 1+ years experience within an industrial painting setting within manufacturing.

INDUSTRIAL PAINTER SUMMARY: 

Responsible for the operation of manually operated hand painting equipment as well as automatic paint line for application of final finish to prescribed specifications. 

INDUSTRIAL PAINTER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

1. Prepare surfaces to be painted as required by work instructions, using spray guns, rollers, and brushes.

2. Ensures the use of appropriate technical references and tools in performing paint duties. 

3. Perform cleaning and maintenance of all used painting equipment. Keep work areas clean and  organized daily.  

4. Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by wearing proper safety equipment (e.g. – Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)) and following procedures. Proactively identify and take corrective action  to eliminate unsafe behaviors and conditions.  

5. Maintain established production rates at expected quality levels
