Tool and Die Maker Starting Rate: $35/hr to $42/hr 1st shift Willoughby, OH investment casting manufacturer to the aerospace and military sector is hiring for a 1st shift Tool & Die Maker.  This Tool & Die Maker has a high preference for Journeyman certification along with 10+ years in the industry within tooling and mold making. Tool and Die Maker / Die Repair to support our manufacturing operations by building, modifying, and repairing molds, machining fixtures, and inspection tools. This role is critical to maintaining quality and efficiency in production.   Position Overview

• Set up milling fixtures and tooling according to specifications
• Build, modify, and repair molds, machining fixtures, and manufacturing aids
• Troubleshoot tooling and wax injection mold issues
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
• Work directly with Supervisors, Engineers, Programmers, and Inspection personnel
• Ensure all tooling meets customer requirements and industry standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

  Qualifications

• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker Certification (apprenticeship completion required)
• Proficiency in Bridgeport mills, manual lathes, and surface grinders
• Ability to set up and run a 3-Axis CNC Mill preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of machining practices and GD&T principles
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection tools
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
