As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting plant operations by ensuring all electrical and mechanical equipment functions optimally. You'll work closely with the Maintenance Department to keep production running smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting routine maintenance on production and plant machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure consistent operation.
- Performing hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Maintaining all plant electrical equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation of electrical systems.
- Testing equipment and assisting in diagnosing issues to determine proper, safe, and effective engineering solutions.
- Assisting with the installation and setup of new production equipment to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Documenting maintenance activities, parts, and repairs to support operational efficiency and compliance.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or GED preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance, particularly with electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
