As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a vital role in supporting smooth production operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining critical equipment. You’ll work closely with the maintenance team to ensure machinery runs efficiently and safely, contributing to continuous improvement efforts across safety, quality, and housekeeping.
What You’ll Do:
As a Night Shift Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment issues in pneumatics, hydraulics, overhead cranes, forklifts, hoists, 3-phase motors, variable speed drives and controls, welding & cutting, and heavy industrial wiring to minimize downtime.
- Rebuilding and replacing electrical and mechanical components to ensure reliable operation.
- Installing, modifying, and fabricating equipment and systems to meet production demands effectively.
- Performing scheduled Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on all machinery and equipment to maximize uptime and longevity.
- Learning process specifications, equipment standards, and safety policies through active consultation with manuals, training resources, and team members.
- Participating in safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects to enhance workplace safety, product quality, and cleanliness.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical and mechanical drawings, and safety instructions.
- Skills in troubleshooting programmable controllers, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and circuit analysis.
- Proficiency with electrical test equipment and tools necessary for repairs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact across shifts and with team members.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, and work in diverse environments.
- Ability to perform routine math calculations, interpret data, and analyze diagnostics.
