Pay: $16-$17.50 to start with raise following training
Shift: 7am-7pm 2-2-3 ($17.50) 7pm-7am 2-2-3 ($17.50) 7am-4:30pm M-F ($16) 4pm-12:30am M-F ($16)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to join our production teams, supporting either Overwrap or Embroidery operations. These positions are responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production equipment to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy throughout each shift. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and confident troubleshooting equipment issues—not just pushing buttons.Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and adjust overwrap or embroidery machines for changeovers and production runs.
Load and prepare materials (threads, needles, films, fabrics, etc.) according to job specifications.
Monitor equipment performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Interpret design and production specifications to ensure proper placement, alignment, and finish.
Conduct quality checks on finished products, addressing defects or irregularities promptly.
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting using hand tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers).
Keep accurate records of production counts, settings, and completed work.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of machine operation experience in a manufacturing or production environment (required).
Mechanical aptitude and ability to “read” and understand machine performance.
Familiarity with embroidery, sewing, or textile production a plus.
Proficient computer and recordkeeping skills.
Strong troubleshooting ability and problem-solving mindset.
Reliable attendance and teamwork orientation.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
Skills:

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
