Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a global leader in the design, manufacture, and lifecycle management of technologies that clean the air of harmful pollutants and carbon dioxide (CO2) linked to climate change.  We are looking for a 3rd shift Operations Supervisor ASAP!  This is a direct-hire full time job located in Durham, NC Pay: $70k Exempt Shift: 11pm-7:30am Sun-Thu About the Role: Operations Supervisor We are seeking a hands-on, motivated Operations Supervisor to lead our 3rd shift Production Associates. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supervising daily operations to meet production targets in safety, quality, output, and housekeeping. You will play a key role in training, coaching, performance management, and team communication. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead Production Associates to meet daily operational goals
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and ISO-compliant work environment
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Oversee inventory of raw materials to ensure production readiness
  • Monitor timekeeping and attendance for team members
  • Manage staffing levels, overtime, and shift coordination
  • Recognize high performance and foster team motivation
  • Report and investigate any safety incidents or concerns
  • Conduct team meetings and ensure clear communication
  • Start up or shut down equipment as needed for safety concerns
  • Enforce company policies and administer discipline as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience
  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions and coach team members effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with varying conditions
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to mechanical noise and dusty/raw materials
  • Temperature fluctuations from warm to cold
  • Physically active, hands-on role in a production environment
