Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a worldwide leader in zipper manufacturing and we are looking for a QC Technician! 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM Mon-Thu Pay: $19/hr - $23/hr BOE GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB To be knowledgeable of what is acceptable, and or unacceptable product quality.  Inspect to ensure product within assigned specifications.  Perform dimensional and physical testing, and report on product quality throughout the plant. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advise Production Supervisors and QC Manager of defective, or out of spec product.
• Report any trends or problem machinery.
• Properly maintain all assigned forms and specification charts.
• Maintain reports and records as required by the Company.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ Months of Quality experience
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
• After training be able to use the following measurement tools: Thickness Gages, Ruler, Caliper, Micrometer, and Scott Tester
• Basic computer skills of data entry and printing graphs
• Prioritize tasks
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Good eyesight
• Good dexterity
