Alliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a local metal fabrication company and we are looking to fill multiple positions ASAP! We need Packing & Shipping, Grinders/Finishers, and Busbar (CNC) Operators.
Shift: 5:30am-4pm Mon-Thu (Packing & Shipping, Grinder/Finisher)
4pm-2:30am Mon-Thu (Busbar only)
Pay: $16/hr (1st) (Packing & Shipping, Grinder/Finisher)
$17/hr (2nd) (Busbar only)
The Packing and Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing and shipping orders, ensuring products are packed securely and dispatched efficiently. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Order Preparation:Review and verify orders for accuracy, including product type, quantity, and destination.
Collect and organize items to be packed according to order specifications.
Packing:
Pack products securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
Label packages with correct shipping information and documentation.
Measure and weigh packages to determine shipping costs.
Shipping Coordination:
Prepare shipping labels and documentation, including customs forms for international shipments.
Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pick-up or drop-off of packages.
Track shipments and update status as needed.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of packing materials and reorder supplies as necessary.
Conduct periodic stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
A Metal Grinder/Finisher is responsible for precision grinding and finishing of metal components. Operate various machines and power tools, following detailed blueprints to transform metal parts into finished products that meet exact specifications.
Responsibilities and Duties:Operate various finishing equipment including polishers, sanding instruments, polishing wheels, buffing wheels, and straight lining machines
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and job packets, understanding dimensions and tolerances for both new and repeat jobs
Perform grinding and finishing operations on various materials including stainless steel, aluminum, and cold steel with guidance from grinding lead or fabrication supervisor
Set up machines according to required procedures using appropriate tooling
Conduct quality checks according to company standards and maintain inspection documentation
Identify and report discrepancies to supervision immediately
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and emerging technologies
The Busbar Operator operates and maintains Euromac and Boschert CNC punch machines (Busbar) to produce precision metal parts according to detailed specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Euromac and Boschert CNC punch machines to punch and form sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and work orders.
Program machines or load pre-programmed settings based on production requirements.
Perform regular machine setup, adjustments, and tooling changes as necessary for different production runs.
Conduct quality checks and inspections of finished products to ensure they meet dimensional and quality specifications.
Optimize machine performance by regularly inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining equipment.
Keep accurate production records, including job times, materials used, and product quality reports.

Blueprint Reading/Basic Shop Math/Measuring Instruments

Forklift Certification a plus
