Alliance Industrial is seeking a Production Associate  to join our partner Invacare, an American manufacturer and distributor of non-acute medical equipment (including wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers, pressure care and respiratory products). 

Shift

• 1st shift 
• Overtime may be mandatory when required

Production/ Pindot Associate: Pay and Benefits

• $16 per hour- $18.00
• $200 referral bonus for each person you refer that works for 30 days (unlimited bonus opportunity)
• After a probationary period, employees are eligible for  insurances including medical, dental, vision, as well as paid time off

Production Associate Duties:

•  Able to fashion mold surfaces and contours by hand, using modeling clay
• Able to perform assigned machine operating tasks and hand assembly tasks at expected production volume
• Visually inspects material during the assembly process to prevent defects and scrap
• Responsible for quality of assembled product prior to and including their workstation
•  Able to interpret production documentation including order forms, customer’s special instructions, look-up tables, training sheets and other relevant process information
• Provides written suggestions for continuous improvement 
• Strict compliance to FDA and ISO control standards and record keeping
• Adheres to all safety policies
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards in accordance with 5 S principles
• Complete all required training applicable to assigned position
• Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

Assembler Pindot  Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read a tapemeasure
• Ability to use machinery such as belt sanders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
• Bending, twisting and/or squatting may be required
• Demonstrated flexibility in attitude and willingness to work in all areas as needed
• Demonstrated ability to understand and follow work instructions
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work overtime with little or no notice
• Ability to be cross-trained
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of quality standards to apply visual inspection
• Knowledge of proper problem-solving skills
• Must have physical ability and manual dexterity necessary to perform the duties pertaining to job
