Originally from Connecticut, I moved to Louisiana 22 years ago. That was a culture shock. For the most part, I have lost all of my "northerness", except for pronouncing the a short "O" in words like - Fog, Hog and Log. It always sounds like an A.
I do still drink "soda", not "cold drinks", and eat "lollipops", not suckers. That thing you push at the grocery store - it's a cart, not a buggy.
I have a B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Social Work.
I have 3 children, and a dog (Ellie).
I love to read and watch Bob Ross on You Tube to decompress after work.
I would love to visit Australia, and meet the Irwins. However, I don't know how I would survive all the time it takes to get there! LOL.
I joined AMP back in 2006. I've worked in almost every aspect of staffing. Recruiting has been the most rewarding out of all of them because I get to meet nurses all over the US.
Why I love to recruit
I love recruiting because there are some amazing clinicians in this world, and I love that I get to be part of their journey while they are saving lives.
When I'm not working I like to
