Mel's Bio

Mel is the former President and Owner of Accounting Career Consultants. He proudly completed the successful sale of the business to his son, Larry, in July 2012. He combines 20 years of accounting experience (including public accounting and industry positions up to Controller roles) with over 35 years of staffing experience.He has worked with and has known many of his candidates and clients for 10-20+ years and focuses on long-term relationships. He joined a partner in the business as a franchise of a national company. Within 5 years he bought out his partner and bought out of his franchise agreement and has grown the company into one of the leading boutique financial staffing firms in St. Louis. Mel is a CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) and he previously was a licensed CPA.
