Madison Bassett

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, I have always had the utmost respect for nurses. I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when I was just two years old, resulting in a 4-year battle. For years I always thought I wanted to be a nurse, but it turns out that it wasn’t for me, which ultimately left me questioning what career path I wanted to pursue. I moved away from Virginia and started my college career at the University of Mississippi, where I graduated with a double major in Marketing and Communication Strategy.

I graduated in 2019 and searched for months to find a job where I felt like I would make a difference and help others. That’s when the opportunity with Travel Nurses, Inc. came about, and I could not have made a better choice to begin a career in medical staffing. With this career, I can build relationships with healthcare professionals and make sure that those who take care of patients are taken care of as well. Long story short, I get to help others, help others!
