Hey Yall! I have been a recruiter since graduating college in 2014! I worked at my first company, Randstad for 3 years before transitioning to Totalmed in 2017. I have found a home here and have really enjoyed working with this team. I definitely try to focus on making your experince as enjoyable as possible. Whether that is a transition from staff nurse to traveler or by helping you realize how a recruiter/traveler relationship can be enjoyable. I try to make sure i'm quick to get back quickly to inquiries, but also handle problems between departments such as HR and compliance. I want to help be an advocate for my travelers, while reassuring them that they work with someone who has their back. I truly am looking to work with people who want a transparent, honest, enjoyable relationship!
I am an outgoing person who loves to travel the world and adventure around Austin, TX. I have a 6 year old Mini Australian Shepard pup that is the light of my life!! I enjoy gardening and plants as well as art and yoga! I just purchased my first house that I plan to move into around August/Sept of 2021. Follow along on facebook to see some of the jobs and other content I post!
Thank you for all that you do nurses <3
Why I love recruiting...
Getting to help the people who help brings a really unique purpose to my life
When I'm not working, I love to...
Play with my pup, nap, do yoga, listen to music, watch netflix, hike, travel
Alexis has worked hard to find me placement that fit into my needs. She took the time to listen and understand what I wanted before sending me postings. I have, and will continue to, refer colleagues to her. She is an excellent asset to the industry.
I just started my first travel nursing assignment. Alexis has been wonderful from the very beginning. Everything has been clear about what to do for paperwork and I feel supported as a traveler. I have already had one minor issue with scheduling since I got to my assignment. Alexis listened to me, understood my frustration and we formulated a plan together. I’m across the country all alone as a newbie traveler and I DO feel like Alexis has my back!!
I’m one of only a handful of people that have stayed with the same recruiter throughout my travel experience but it has paid off. I’ve had the greatest three years of traveling and I’m not done yet! Alexis is personable, knowledgeable and just an all around great person to have in your corner. Traveling can be stressful but Alexis is always there to guarantee things work out. My advice to anyone looking to start travel nursing is to find a recruiter that you trust and that listens to what you need. I found that in Alexis and I would recommend her to anyone!
Alexis has listened to exactly what I want from Day 1. She makes a usually overwhelming process feel doable. I trust her opinion and I know that she’ll be honest with me if she doesn’t feel something is a good fit for me. She’s always available if I need anything. My travel experience has been above and beyond what I could have dreamed and I owe most of that to Alexis!

Alexis always answered my questions and went to bat for me on my contracts. Definitely my favorite recruiter of ALL time. Wish I could travel right now just so I could use Alexis!! Love her. She is also warm and personable and truly cares about her people.
Alexis has been amazing! I reached out as a staff nurse with no experience traveling. She made the process very transparent and helped me obtain my first travel contract. Alexis has always been available if I have any questions or concerns. I highly recommend her to other nurses quite often. I’m very thankful I have a recruiter I can count on at all times!
Alexis made a really difficult situation for my wife and I a LOT easier as we sought travel contracts this past fall/winter due to some unique family circumstances. Alexis has been an excellent point of contact the entire way through my experience, was a great communicator, and was flexible with what I needed as a new traveler.
If I hadn’t found out I had an opportunity to start a CRNA program this year (unexpectedly), I would have stayed on with Alexis as my go to for additional contracts. She is fabulous!
Alexis is so incredibly helpful! She made transitioning from a staff nurse to a traveler stressless and so much fun! She took all my worries away when it cames to the application process and the fears of being thrown in a facility I may not like! I will definitely be recommending her to all my staff nurse friends!
She was always so supportive, always available whenever I needed. She helped me through a difficult time in my career, and I am forever grateful. She is definitely more than a recruiter, I consider her a friend!
