About Suresh Hiteshi:

Relating positive experiences is good and there were a great number of them. However, and I trust it is what he was trained to do since many calls I get do it....someone calls me, interrupts my day...to discuss an opportunity. After we discuss it awhile, compensation is a cat and mouse game of "What is the budgeted rate?" and the response is similar to "What would you want it to be?" and once I specify...I feel like it was a poker "call." THat is the first uncomfortable sensation. THEN, once we both agree it makes sense to submit my credentials (again, everyone is being trained to do this and it has become genuinely annoying) I am asked to drop what I am doing....go to my computer and bring up the RTR and return it right away! It presumes that this call and opportunity are the most important things in my life at that moment and....it puts me off. This is particularly galling, not that Suresh has done it, but then the screener disappears....ghosts you... and you never know what happened. You are expected to JUMP and respond and then..... so have become less and less inclined to JUMP. Afterall, we candidates realize that these screening calls are intended merely to represent a large top of the funnel of candidate options/leads. Like herding cattle and let the recruiter select which ones they feel merit being really considered.
