I am from Leawood, Kansas (just outside of Kansas City) and attended the University of Kansas. With that being said, I am a die hard Jayhawk and Chief fan! Before I was a travel nurse recruiter I was a safari guide in South Africa. So, I obviously love traveling and being in the outdoors!

Why I love to recruit
I love connecting with people from all over the country and helping people find their ideal job. Getting people excited and paid is what it is all about! At KU, I originally wanted to go to Medical School but then decided to major in Biology and minor in Business. Now that I am a travel nurse recruiter, I think it is the best of both worlds!

When I'm not working I like to
I love spending time outdoors, and especially love hunting and fishing. Either watching or attending the Chiefs and Jayhawks games is also at the top of my list of things to do.

About Cole Mitchelson:

Cole is very good at his job and I was looking forward to getting a position through his recruitment. My qualifications at this time do not meet the minimum or i would be working for your company. I have made the decision that Long term Care is not the area of nursing that I want to do, and not how I want to enter into travel nursing. Because of this we could not move forward. However, I feel that if my qualifications were to fit a job offered by your company and my needs/wants Cole would be the first to call. I appreciated his timely responses, his hard work, and dedication during our interactions and his transparency with minimum requirements to fulfill the policies and procedures set forth for him to follow. Cole is top-notch and I hope that in the future we can work together again!

About Cole Mitchelson:

Cole is super easy to talk to! I feel like he has listened to all of my concerns and he's answered all the stupid questions I have. I haven't started my first contract yet, but I feel like he's got my best interests in mind. I mentioned to him that I don't want to make mistakes I can't fix in regards to submitting to jobs and accepting offers, and he responded with "That's what I'm here for." That really made me feel at ease. Taking the leap to travel after working as staff for so long is scary, but he's made this decision so much easier to make.
