Job Title: Diesel Mechanic - Urgently Hiring Pay: $25.26-28.07/hr (all employees start at $25.26/hr and then typically bump up after 90 probationary period) Hours: Days between 530 & 6:00 am-2:30 pm Start Date: ASAP Local Food Manufacturing company is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as a Diesel Mechanic in Roseburg, OR! Must be willing to work hard, in all elements and must be comfortable with travel.

As a Diesel Mechanic you will be responsible for:

• Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset and serving as an example of living our Producers Dairy purpose and core values
• Conducting activities in a safe manner, following company safety guidelines and requirements and proactively address any unsafe conditions observed
• Determine nature of needed repairs for company tractors and trailers through accurate troubleshooting
• Work with the garage manager to properly prioritize work and complete within appropriate timelines
• Adjust valves according to specifications and charge system with proper type of refrigerant by pumping the specified gas or fluid into the system
• Test lines, components, and connections for leaks
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed
• Performs Federal Inspections
• A and B PM services as per DOT guidelines
• Repair and Maintain Mechanical Equipment— Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles
• Repair of electric and hydraulic lift-gates
• Computer aided troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Make safety a top priority – properly manage time and prepare for jobs to work in a safe manner
• Ask for help when needed
• Other administrative tasks as assigned.
