My name is Ellie and I am a healthcare travel recruiter. A little bit about me:
I grew up in San Diego, CA and then went to high school in Western Washington. After graduating high school, I immediately moved back to San Diego were I was taking nursing classes. After some time, I ended up deciding that while I wanted to go into health care, I was very interested in the administrative side of health care as I was working at the time alongside corporate management in a clinic/urgent care office setting. I ended up ultimately deciding to move to AZ (sunny still, no beaches, but more affordable!) Upon graduating, I took a job as a office manager at a primary care/wellness medical center. Eventually, I decided I did not like working on that side of healthcare. Proceeding that role, I decided to get into healthcare recruiting and have since loved it. Working with front line health care providers has been beyond rewarding. As they say - once you fall in love with your job, it doesn't feel like work.
My goal is to make sure all candidates that I work with feel well taken care of and feel comfortable coming to me for all situations. I am dedicated to finding my prospects with the absolute best service.
Our company's values:
A lot of companies sell themselves as being “part of a family” or “more than just a number”, but we’re not making that promise. Our promise is much simpler – Be Engaged. Be engaged and be present in everything we do. Focus on doing the little things right every single day. Actively listen with undivided attention. Every situation is unique and requires a unique solution.
Why I love to recruit
I love working with front line healthcare workers to ensure they are getting the best treatment. While I understand health care workers have to deal with a great deal of stress while often using 110% of their energy to care for patients. Being able to take some of these burdens off and help health care workers focus on simplifying processes and finding assignments that make the most sense for you. My goal is to do my job to the best of my ability to take some of the stress off the travelers.
When I'm not working I like to
Travel, happy hours, gym, hike, camp, read, family and friends
