Why I love to recruit
I got into recruiting through volunteering to help people in transition or looking to transition. I ended up enjoying my volunteer work more than I got paid to do (marketing) & decided to make a career change. The part of my job I like the most is finding jobs for people, though I'm actually hired to find people for jobs. I feel that caring about fit both ways makes for greater fullfillment (candidate/client) & better retention rates.

I have worked with over 10 professional recruiters in my 30+ years in high tech industries both as a hiring manager and as an applicant and Jenny is, without a doubt, the best I have ever worked with. She is totally dependable, responsive, thorough, insightful, knowledgeable, and goes out of her way to accommodate my work demands and personal needs during the recruiting process. For example, she creatively and patiently worked around my long work hours and restrictions on video conferencing to set up interviews, interrupted her dinner to take my late evening call to resolve a video conf. technical issue, and provided very helpful and useful guidance during the salary and benefits negotiations. She made what is a typically stressful process very smooth and enjoyable for me that resulted in a successful outcome of placing me in a new role that I am interested in.
